In similar fashions to his most recent Glitter Gutter collection, the pair boasts a subtle asymmetric-like finish as the medial and lateral blue converse womens look drastically different in their tonal shades.
Each shoe's classic look is completed with a black midsole tab at the heel and a classic brown Chuck Taylor outsole. Storied international retailer Dover Street Market is no stranger to Nike collaborations, having added their special touch to everything from the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Max 1 and the Converse One Star . Now, they're adorning another classic shoe with their signature color palate and recognizable logo: the Converse Chuck 70 Ox. Arriving in both a white and a black canvas, blue leather converse both shoes feature a white midsole with black piping and DSM's special badge on the lateral heel.
Arriving in a black/white and a blue/white, both shoes nod to the embellishments on antique porcelain kitchenware with their bright white base color and an interesting vintage floral pattern that rises from the midsole to cover the entire canvas upper. For another unique touch, the aforementioned upper is split into two pieces by an embroidered stitch down the middle, differentiating the dark-colored forefoot with light accents from the light-colored heel that features dark accents. Back brown converse high tops in October of 2018, Kyle Ng's Brain Dead released one of the best hits of the year by way of a pieced-together Converse Chuck 70 that sported a split-down-the-middle aesthetic and four distinct graphics on each of its sides. Converse has gone ahead and given each of the three classic patterns, which served as the muse to his collaboration, its own shine with the "Archive Pack", which features the distinct camo, zebra/animal style, and leopard prints on the upper on its own individual silhouettes.
