David Beckham is the star of the new Sky Sports advert ahead of the Premier League season - and we went behind the scenes on the shoot... The former Manchester United and England midfielder leads the campaign ahead of Sky Sports biggest ever Premier League season, with 126 live matches in total, including for the first time, Friday Night Football.In the advert, Beckham, who is originally from east London and now lives in the city, takes a morning jog through his hometown, only to find himself running through scenes from 10 months of unpredictable football drama. The shoot for the ad took place over three days in London, and involved 500 extras as well as snow machines and a fire engine to create a seasons worth of weather in 60 seconds. The shorthanded goal was the third of the season for Backlund, moving him into a tie for second in the NHL behind Bostons Brad Marchand.
