Cameron Yarwood and Philippe Hudon scored for the Tigres (30-23-7), while Francois Tremblay stopped 28 shots. --- VOLTIGEURS 4 FOREURS 0 VAL-DOR, Que. — Louis-Philip Guindon had a 28-save shutout as Drummondville blanked the Foreurs. Webb birdied the 18th hole to take the outright lead, then watched as Choi, who shot a course-record 62 on Saturday to take a share of the third-round lead, pushed a 10-foot putt wide of the hole at 18 to miss the chance for a playoff. Adidas Falcon Goedkoop . LUCIE, Fla.Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants New York defensive co-ordinator Perry Fewell got the attention of the Giants earlier this week with a simple statement heading into the game with the Atlanta Falcons. When was the last time the Giants (2-2) were above the .500 mark? Watch the game on TSN2 starting at 1pm et/10am pt. The answer is 2012 and it goes a long way in explaining why Tom Coughlins team has not been to the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl to cap the 2011 season. After opening the ensuing season 6-2, the Giants have gone 12-16, including 0-6 to start last season and an 0-2 start this year. The gloom has dissipated in recent weeks with wins over Houston and Washington, and the Giants could move above the .500 with a win over the perplexing Falcons (2-2) Sunday at MetLife Stadium. I think that is huge, cornerback Prince Amukamara said of being above .500. If we do that its a huge message that we are sending to ourselves, and to the league, that we are for real. Thats the type of message we need on this team. The game is just as important to the Falcons, who missed the playoffs last season for the first time in four years. I think we are just very inconsistent, current Falcons and former Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora said. We play good one week and then the next week, we dont play quite as well. We have to find a way to be more consistent in our play. Led by quarterback Matt Ryan, the Falcons are tied for NFLs top-rated offence. The defence, however, is among the leagues worst, struggling particularly against the run. First and foremost, we have to stop the run, and I think if we are able to do that, then that will put us in a more (favourable) situation, Umenyiora said. Three out of the four weeks, we havent done a really good job of that at all. The Giants come into the game averaging 120.3 yards rushing in co-ordinator Ben McAdoos new West Coast offence. Quarterback Eli Manning threw four touchdowns and ran for another in a 45-14 win over the Redskins in the teams last game on Sept. 25. With divisional games at Philadelphia and Dallas after the Falcons, Manning also understands the importance of this one. This is obviously a big one, Manning said. At 2-2 you want to keep things going, hopefully get into the winning record territory and keep on pace, and try to catch up with Dallas and Philly, theyre both 3-1. Its a huge game, their offence has been scoring a lot of points. Theyve lost some cloose ones and been in there at the end in all the games.ddddddddddddTheyre a talented team so we have to make sure were handling our business. Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos One touchdown throw shy of 500 and nine short of Brett Favres NFL record, Peyton Manning has taken stock of all the men who helped him get this far. Not just the likes of Marvin Harrison and Dallas Clark, Julius Thomas and Wes Welker. But also the linemen such as Jeff Saturday and Ryan Clady and all the coaches hes worked with in his 17 NFL seasons. Manning will see two of his greatest influences on the opposite sideline Sunday when Denver (2-1) hosts Arizona (3-0). Catch the action on TSN4 starting at 4pm et/1pm pt. Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was his first QB coach when Manning arrived in the NFL in 1998. And Arians right-hand man, Tom Moore, was Mannings offensive co-ordinator during his 13 seasons in Indy. Manning went 3-13 his rookie year, when he set a league record with 28 interceptions. But I learned a lot going through that, Manning said. Bruce was always real, just kept coaching me, was positive with me and he and I had a lot of tough Mondays. Manning and the Colts turned things around by 1999 and they reached the playoffs in 11 of the next 12 seasons. So, Ill be forever indebted to Bruce, Manning said. He taught me a lot of fundamentals in those first three years that I still use today. Arians would leave Indy after Mannings third season, but Moore stayed with him until Manning was cut loose in 2012 following four neck surgeries. We were both kind of proud of the fact that we were able to stay together that long because we both did our jobs well and worked hard at our jobs, Manning said. Manning isnt worried that Arians and Moore know him better than any other coaching duo hes faced in his career. Hes more concerned with the likes of Larry Foote, Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. Its still about the players on the field that youre real concerned with and Arizona has plenty of those to think about, Manning said. There are always measures that you take when youre playing against an ex-coach or ex-player that you try to protect yourself with. Its still about football and kind of block-and-tackle and play pitch-and-catch. So you certainly take it into account, but if youre so worried about a play they might know and you dont throw a good pass verses Patrick Peterson then I think youre hurting yourself. ' ' '
